KAMA

“Everything in the world is about sex except sex. Sex is about power. ”Oscar Wilde
KAMA represents the space in which to explore the relationship between different genders. This choreographic research aims to cross techniques of contact-improvisation while illustrating ancient Indian texts, Kama Sutra of Vātsyāyana, that explore the possible individual sovereignty that occurs in these encounters. Two bodies that construct a narrative about the history of gender and their eternal conflicts.
