Dance and Feminism

Going beyond one more “ism”

Nowadays we talk a lot about feminism but how do we see it represented in our social and political space? In this talk we refer to the power and vulnerability of the female body and voice, and its current claim for freedom of movement in contemporary dance. A reflection about women and by women who are currently seeking to overthrow the stereotypes, the objectification and formulations of the female body, gender and sexuality.
